Lasercorn: "Well, Sohinki's leaving Hitman because he doesn't know how to properly pick up a proximity mine and he blew himself up and it was all his fault and not mine at all. So, I guess what we can take away from this..."
Sohinki: "I will mulch you!"
Lasercorn: "It's kind of frightening. (laughs)"
—Lasercorn and Sohinki after Sohinki ragequit

HITMAN KILLING SPREE is the 11th episode of Backseat Gaming, hosted by Lasercorn and Sohinki, who play Square Enix's stealth thriller game Hitman: Absolution. It was released on December 11, 2012.

Description[]

Hitman Absolution gives you plenty of ways to kill people..and die.

Synopsis[]

Lasercorn's turn[]

After concluding the Lasercorn invented the "sunglasses-over-sunglasses" move, Lasercorn chooses a map and they start playing. After messing around for a bit, they focus on the mission: to point-shoot at least three people. Lasercorn successfully kills three enemies. The move to dump one of the bodies through a window, but a glitch causes the corpse to levitate on top of the glass of the open window. Lasercorn jokingly blames him now being under heavy fire on the enemies spotting the floating corpse. After killing everyone else, Sohinki orders Lasercorn to "see if that levitating guy levitates even more". Lasercorn shoots the window underneath the corpse, sending it flying. Soon, however, Lasercorn is shot dead by an unseen person.

HITMAN KILLING SPREE 1

Lasercorn setting off a mine in a grocery store.

Later, on a public street, Sohinki orders Lasercorn to murder a nearby teenager and steal their outfit. Lasercorn proceeds to shoot everyone in the vicinity, eventually getting into a firefight with police. Lasercorn ends up masquerading as a police officer instead, finding that he cannot steal the teenager's clothes. Lasercorn breaks into someone's apartment and kills a policeman, taking his uniform. Lasercorn detonates an explosive in a store after catching an NPC steal from the cash register, killing everyone inside.

This causes Lasercorn to get into another firefight with the police. Lasercorn runs to obtain more remote bombs. He ends up in the back of another store against a wall with police shooting at him on the other side. Lasercorn detonates another mine in the store and is killed in the ensuing explosion. Sohinki asks how that happened, and Lasercorn tells Sohinki that he is bad at "doing this" and yells for a switch.

Sohinki's turn[]

Lasercorn tells Sohinki to murder the store employee and Sohinki complies, drawing the attention of a policeman. Sohinki fakes surrender and, when the cop gets close enough, grabs the cop's gun and knocks out the cop. Sohinki takes the cop's uniform but is caught again, and fakes surrender a second time and did the same maneuver. Sohinki also killed another customer in the store, as well as another woman who walked into the store.

Lasercorn tells Sohinki to set off a car alarm, which attracts the attention of an NPC. Sohinki shoots a gasoline puddle, igniting an explosion, which kills Sohinki as well. Sohinki subdues another cop and steals his uniform and kills a witness.

HITMAN KILLING SPREE 2

Agent 47 shooting someone in the balls.

Later, Sohinki dumps a couple of bodies into a rather dirty pool but is caught by police. Sohinki takes refuge in a nearby building and point-shoots a policeman in the balls, followed by shooting another man in the back of the head.

Later, in another firefight, after some confusion, Lasercorn orders Sohinki to walk through a fence, which gets him killed. A frustrated Sohinki calls for a switch.

Lasercorn's turn[]

Lasercorn point-shoots a group of people in the head and centers a mass of bullets at a woman's crotch. Lasercorn mows down more enemies who appear out of a cornfield. Lasercorn steals the clothes of a scarecrow and subdues another enemy. Lasercorn carries the unconscious man over to a wood chipper called the 'Ripper 3000'. As Lasercorn activates the wood chipper with the unconscious man inside (thus obviously killing him), he imitates Billy Mays in a fake ad for the Ripper 3000.

HITMAN KILLING SPREE 3

Lasercorn imitating Billy Mays after activating a wood chipper with an unconscious man inside.

Lasercorn continues walking around the cornfield near enemies, who do not suspect a thing, even subduing an enemy without drawing attention. Later, he shoots a crane that drops a pile of sandbags in a failed attempt to kill someone. Frustrated, Lasercorn throws a screwdriver at the woman's head. Sohinki gives Lasercorn a mission to kill everyone with only a brick and to call himself the "Brick-Layer". Lasercorn kills two enemies with a brick before being shot to death and calls for a switch.

Sohinki's turn[]

Lasercorn notices an enemy approaching Sohinki from behind and orders Sohinki to fake surrender and then grab the enemy hostage. This is successful and begins moving around the level, shooting enemies with the man still hostage. Sohinki knocks the hostage unconscious and is told by Lasercorn to pull a lever. This causes a large light fixture to be dropped down on an underground cage fight, killing the combatants, including the target. After killing another guard in the balls and stealing a wrench, Sohinki tries to kill another guard with the wrench, but somehow doesn't. He soon ends up in another firefight and begins knocking everyone out with the wrench. Sohinki knocks out six people before being shot to death.

HITMAN KILLING SPREE 4

Sohinki panicking after realizing he accidentally detonated a proximity mine he meant to pick up.

Disguised, Sohinki shimmies across a wall and pulls someone out a window, and that person falls to their death. Sohinki crawls through a window and Lasercorn tells him to pick up a proximity mine. Sohinki accidentally detonates it and starts to walk away, thinking that he picked it up. Lasercorn tells him to go back and disarm it before it detonates, but at that point, it was too late; the mine exploded and immediately kills Sohinki. The two argue about it, with Sohinki claiming not to know how to disarm it and that he was trying to pick it up, despite Lasercorn telling him that the disarming button was on-screen. Sohinki ragequits anyway and leaves the room.

Reasons for switching[]

  • Lasercorn switched because of a miscalculated proximity mine that killed him.
  • Sohinki switched because he was mowed down by bullets after walking through a gate to the enemies.
  • Lasercorn switched after the Brickelator was killed in combat.
  • Sohinki quit after accidentally arming a proximity mine instead of disarming it, killing his character.
