"The 007 franchise is something amazing, and I'm so glad to see it come this far. But these games just haven't been giving them as much justice, though. 007 Legends isn't a bad game; it's just not up to par with what we can expect from other games. It almost felt like a way to make money off of the title. But I will admit that a fan of the franchise will enjoy the game and they'll want to play through the story mode, maybe even twice. Just, there are a few negatives here and they're gonna notice them. In the end, I'd give this game 6 Vesper martinis; shaken, not stirred."

Information[]

007 Legends is a first-person shooter game developed by Eurocom and published by Activision, featuring the character of British secret agent James Bond. It was released to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film series. To achieve this, the single-player campaign includes one mission from each of the six actors' eras, being Goldfinger (Sean Connery), On Her Majesty's Secret Service (George Lazenby), Moonraker (Roger Moore), Licence to Kill (Timothy Dalton) and Die Another Day (Pierce Brosnan), with Skyfall (Daniel Craig) released as DLC. Additionally, some of the original talent from the films add their likenesses and voices to their associated characters.

007 Legends is the fourth James Bond game title to be released by Activision, as well as the last game Eurocom developed before the company ceased operations. Unfortunately, it received generally negative reviews from critics.
